Some would say that the week after WPPI is like the biggest hangover! Others are happy not waiting in like the longest line for your coffee only to miss your seat at an 8am class, can you say “DRAG”! For me it is finally a welcoming, slight, slowdown. We can now breath over here in order to absorb the great info we gained by attending WPPI. Because honestly for us no matter if the experience brings new knowledge or a confirmation that we are doing something pushing our business forward or a process that has something original to set us apart, the bottom line is that it is information that keeps us evolving. Education is empowering, inspiring and definitely enlivens us! The day Byron and I stop learning is the day our lives come to an end.
I do have to point out that some of the speakers and educators are NOT necessarily teaching new ideas or concepts but rather packaging old ideas in new ways. Very intriguing… Also while I am happy there are people out there that can remind some the importance of giving back and being true or being real we should never forget that those are all part of standard business ethics. So “hey”, “hey” to those who were able to get “unstuck” from their own absorption and get inspired.
Lastly Byron and I wanted to give SHOUT OUTS TO -
Elvee and Dustin Froehlich from Mai Tai Photography. Be sure to look them up if you are in San Diego!
And
The fellow photography gals that B & I call “The Georgia Trio”. Sara Wise, KC Elrod and Amy. Be sure to look them up if you are in Georgia.
