World Cup 2010 – Here We Go Now!

Every time I think about the World Cup and as I type this post I have Living La Vida Loca singing in my head.  Crazy right!?  Well gents it’s that time and USA is headed to the World Cup!  Yaaaayyyy!  I’ve very stoked and can’t wait to see them play.  It’s during this time that the world is glued to the tube watching every moment.  It’s the time where the world comes together to celebrate a passion everyone can enjoy.

As you grooms help your bride with your wedding planning here are a few links to keep you up to date with what’s going on with the World Cup.

Twitter World Cup 2010 – Excellent site to see what fellow tweeters are twittering about.  Mashable even came up with a guide on How to follow the 2010 World Cup on Twitter.

Mashable’s Complete Cup Coverage – This site has it all from a ESPN scoreboard with recent scores to additional links such as for iPhone & Android apps.

ESPN Soccernet – This is ESPN’s official site for the World Cup which includes highlight videos, scoreboard, blogs, podcasts and more.

World Cup Blog – We certainly cannot have just an official website without a blog.  This blog has plenty of articles and headlines from around the world.  See what other countries are writing about the World Cup.

FIFA World Cup 2010 South Africa - Of course we can’t leave out the official World Cup website with all of the stats, matches, schedules, photos, videos and more.

We can’t all be watching the game from a pub with a cold pint of Guinness in hand, you have a wedding to help plan.  So grooms as you’re planning your wedding stay connected with the World Cup from anywhere by grabbing an app for your iphone, checking out the latest blog on the web, or take a look at the scoreboard from your laptop.

Monday After WPPI 2010

Some would say that the week after WPPI is like the biggest hangover! Others are happy not waiting in like the  longest line for your coffee only to miss your seat at an 8am class, can you say “DRAG”!  For me it is finally a welcoming, slight, slowdown. We can now breath over here in order to absorb the great info we gained by attending WPPI. Because honestly for us no matter if the experience brings new knowledge or a confirmation that we are doing something pushing our business forward or a process that has something original to set us apart, the bottom line is that it is information that keeps us evolving.  Education is empowering, inspiring and definitely enlivens us! The day Byron and I stop learning is the day our lives come to an end.

I do have to point out that some of the speakers and educators are NOT necessarily teaching new ideas or concepts but rather packaging old ideas in new ways.  Very intriguing… Also while I am happy there are people out there that can remind some the importance of giving back and being true or being real we should never forget that those are all part of standard business ethics.  So “hey”, “hey” to those who were able to get “unstuck” from their own absorption and get inspired.

Lastly Byron and I wanted to give SHOUT OUTS TO -

Elvee and Dustin Froehlich from Mai Tai Photography. Be sure to look them up if you are in San Diego!

And

The fellow photography gals that B & I call “The Georgia Trio”. Sara Wise, KC Elrod and Amy. Be sure to look them up if you are in Georgia.

That’s the Georgia Trio Below-I am in the middle of Amy (yes, another Amy and Sara). KC is solo on the right.

MORE WPPI SHOUT OUTS TOMORROW!

Happy Viewing!
