You know how some people love shoes… well I love nailpolish. I am addicted to it quite frankly. My husband (Byron) tries his hardest to keep me from buying more any time I come near a drugstore or anywhere that sells the stuff. He has even tells clients I have been out with shopping to not let me buy any nailpolish…%#@ox!`!!! Honestly what’s next a NPA meeting? I mean the stuff does turn. So I need more, especially in this heat where things go rancid faster! I have proof. I have bottles that are clumpy and gooey, that is sure ooey and not useable. I even give away annually the polish I do not use anymore
Charity! Not really…. I just don’t like the color anymore. So this way I can buy more, or at least justify it. The funny thing is, is that I seem to only buy red or pink. Sometimes I get real adventurous and will buy a baby blue or deep emerald green with a nice shiny satin finish. But I wear it once and then it just sits in my NP bin. So I like to think I have gotten better with my choices. Oh and did I mention I rarely wear it on my hands? I mostly only paint my toes. And those days might be over now too due to an accident. You see this month my son Andre’ miscalculated the distance of my feet to his and slammed into mine. It left my poor pretty pink polished big toe not so pretty. I lost half my nail. So much for my pretty polished toes. My one big toe looks like a snaggle toe if that is even at all possible. Meanwhile I have still managed to find a new fave color its called “Italian Love Affair” by OPI.
The prettiest luminous, sheer summery pink that I have come across yet. Happy painting!
