Venice, Italy Proposal - Photography By Amy & Byron Alcid
Eight years ago today the love of my life, my partner, my best friend and my better half proposed to me in Venice, Italy. We were floating in a gondola listening to the musical sounds from the open windows floating up above the canals when he, Byron asked me to take a photo of him. As I snapped the shutter, there he was in my viewfinder with the sign… “WILL YOU MARRY ME”. The photo above is at the exact moment it happened! When I looked up at him, unbelievably I might add, there he was on his knee with a beautiful, very big, pink sapphire asking me to marry him. WOW, I still think! And of course I said, “YES” and the rest is history.
